Leadership Team Biographies


Michelle Reimer - Executive Director
Michelle joined Hope Pregnancy Ministries in 2007 as the Director of Clinic Services at Clear Choice Clinic. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse with an associate’s degree from Montana State University; her nursing experience includes inpatient Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Surgery. In March of 2009, Michelle transitioned into the role of Executive Director; she is passionate about the cause of life, and is committed to providing education and hope to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Michelle grew up in Whitefish, where she lives with her husband, Kent. They are blessed with five grown children and five beautiful grandchildren.

Ronalee Skees - Resource Center Director
Ronalee Skees joined the Hope team in July of 2010 to oversee the day to day operations of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center. Ronalee comes to Hope with an extensive background in the Crisis Pregnancy Center; her previous full-time volunteer work has prepared her well for her role at Hope Pregnancy Ministries. Ronalee moved to the Flathead Valley seven years ago when she married her husband Derek, whom she calls her best friend. Ronalee and Derek have three children and three grandchildren. They are active members of Whitefish Assembly of God.

Tawnya Bell - Advertising and Events
Tawnya officially joined the staff at Hope Pregnancy Ministries in 2010 after a year of serving as a volunteer/sub-contractor. With over 10 years experience in event planning and design, Tawnya is uniquely equipped to handle all of our advertising and event planning needs. Tawnya graduated from Stillwater Christian School in 2002 and previously worked as the owner of an event and floral design company. She and her husband Cliff currently live in Columbia Falls with their three children, Jack, Emeline, and Grace, whom they are passionately raising to love the Lord and respect Life.

Kara Roberts - Registered Sonographer
Kara joined us in April of 2009. A Registered Sonographer, Kara was trained at Argosy University in Minnesota, and has worked for both Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane and Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Of her work at Clear Choice Clinic, Kara states, “...even if we were to save the life of only one child, that would be enough to make our mission worthwhile.” Kara was born and raised in Montana, and lives in Kalispell with her husband Sean, son Tucker, and newborn twins Reagan and Tanner.

Leslie Andrews - Registered Nurse
Leslie joined the staff of Hope in October of 2009. A registered nurse with a Bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College, Leslie’s nursing experience includes Surgical ICU, Residential Treatment for Pediatrics and outpatient Oncology. Leslie has a heart to serve women and children, whether in Africa or here in the local community with Hope. Leslie and her husband John have served in ministry for the past 26 years and are currently on staff with Youth With A Mission in Lakeside. They are blessed with three grown children and one handsome grandson.

John Lavin, MD - Medical Director
Clear Choice Clinic is blessed to have Dr. John Lavin serving as Medical Director. Dr. Lavin attended the University of Nevada Medical School, and did his residency in Family Practice, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a partner at Kalispell OB/GYN. John and his wife Anita have seven children. When asked why he is involved with Clear Choice Clinic, Dr. Lavin states, “I am involved with Hope Pregnancy Ministries because it is obvious that the Spirit of Jesus is working here.”
